It’s Your Yard! installs MistAway systems that spray a very fine mist of botanical insecticide through nozzles installed around the perimeter of your property. One of our highly trained professionals will come and evaluate your home and property and then design a system layout customized for your yard. During installation, precision nozzles, connected by high-pressure tubes, are installed along the eaves and overhangs of your home and along your fence line. The mist settles on the grass and landscaping, killing any mosquito that comes in contact with it. It also kills or repels other unwanted pests, including biting flies, chiggers, crickets, fire ants, fleas, gnats, horse flies, ticks, wasps, yellow jackets, and many other outdoor pests. 

The system is usually programmed to automatically spray at dusk and dawn when mosquitoes are most active. Our systems contain a remote control as standard equipment and may be activated to mist between scheduled times if necessary. Our insecticide’s primary ingredients, derived from chrysanthemum flowers, are called pyrethrins. They are rapidly degraded by sunlight or rain, leaving your property free of residue.

One of the great advantages of the It’s Your Yard! system is that it does not attract bugs to your yard like other products, but simply repels/kills the bugs that are already there. Additionally, because of the unique reservoir system, once you set up the system you only need to think about it when it is time to refill.
